Claim Unassigned Accounts

Sometimes, organizations have accounts that are not currently covered. With this feature enabled, users can take an unassigned account and add it to their own coverage list!

Claiming an Unassigned Account

This will allow you to expand your client coverage. Once you claim an unassigned company, that company can be managed by you the same way as you would any other existing company.

Claiming an Unassigned Company

  • Under the Other Users Accounts sections, you will see a list of Unassigned Accounts.

  • Click on that like you would any other user. Then you will see a list of accounts available for "claiming".

  • Click "Claim [Account Name]" next to any of those unassigned company.

  • The system will:

    • Associate the account with your user account

    • Move all related data (contacts, projects, meetings, etc.) to your account, including links to related, live groups. If connected groups are linked, simply click on the join link in the list and you will take ownership.

    • Provide confirmation of successful claim

  • After claiming, the company appears in your "Manage Companies" list

  • Options to return to the main "View Other Users" list or go back to the main menu
